I can provide my collaboration skills to a role, which I developed when leading various research projects that involved collaborating with stakeholders from diverse professions. I offer my stakeholder management skills, as I have experience working with CEOs, directors and project organisers to understand their goals and questions. Moreover, I would bring my experience producing impactful insights as I have when influencing company policy through my research.

 

I have an empathetic approach to my research and collaboration. I have an open approach to my research and ensure it is accessible to all in terms of comprehension. For instance, I have delivered my findings to the public and stakeholders in published reports and roundtable conferences.

  • Supported project management with the Chairman to develop and formulate an initiative aimed towards schools by improving their environmental awareness and practices. Investigated potential schools and lines of inquiry to be a part of the initiative. Researched businesses that will provide funding for the project. 

  • Formulated an article for the UNA Eco forum to inform the public about COP26, by summarising the summit (including its pros and cons).

  • Led and coordinated a qualitative client-facing research project (interviews and focus group) with foster children and carers to understand their experiences and improve Foundation Fosterings' policy.

  • I collaborated with various stakeholders regularly to brainstorm the clients' needs and research goals.  

  •  I produced impactful insights that informed the companies' policies. Foundation Fostering created a policy because of my recommendations. 

  •  I delivered my findings in a report to the stakeholders within the organisation.

  • I led and coordinated qualitative research (in-depth interviews and surveys) while collaborating with the CEO and project organiser. 

  • I  delivered a published report exploring Black students' experiences within Russell Group universities. The organisation commissioned the research to understand their clients' experiences.

  • I delivered actionable recommendations, an executive summary and methodology at a conference held for my research to the public and key stakeholders. 

  • The research influenced the University of Manchester to sponsor a hotspot map that considers their Black students' culture. It also informed the organisation what was working within their schemes.

  • Delivered an article that analysed Restraint Reduction Network content and policy effectiveness. I identified the research topic when collaborating with the company director. 

  • I investigated industry standards and case studies of restraint to inform stakeholders and laypersons about new RRN policies. I offered a unique human rights perspective on these case studies.
